Thoroughly enjoyed Searsport, the hotel was grand old on the coast. The staff were affable and excellent and made me feel welcome. It was a Victorian building, the room was individually decorated with fireplaces. The location was great and gorgeous, at a moderate distance from Penobscot Marine Museum. My stay here was excellent😃😀

Big building and rooms with fireplaces. Fantastic and amazing breakfast for the start of the day with 3 fancy courses in a classy dining hall and the amazing view, for example.

Location: the hotel was close enough to beaches where family wedding was held and Maine. At the restaurant, the breakfast was enjoyable and delicious at a very reasonable rate.

Beautiful historical Victorian place with gorgeous and fantastic location short walk to Maine instead of North Carolina, semi trucks passing by the Inn and the ocean front. Wonderful individually decorated rooms with the bathroom, private baths. Great choice for trip...

The inn we stayed in for our romantic escape was charming with lovely furnishings. It had a beautiful front porch and was located a short walk from the water. The owners provided a nightly wine and appetizers reception, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was fantastic and large. We were able to enjoy a three-course meal every morning without having to choose from a menu. the atmosphere was very welcoming, making us feel right at home.

The amenities provided by the inn were somewhat lacking. We were only given one towel per person for the entirety of our stay and one small bar of soap to share.

This hotel's location is amazing! Just a short walk down to the water where you can enjoy beautiful views. The room itself is decorated nicely with cozy amenities that make it perfect to relax after a long day exploring. The bathroom is clean and spacious with plenty of fresh towels. The breakfast is delicious and will keep you satisfied until lunchtime. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making sure your stay is comfortable. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi which is great for staying connected with friends and family.

The only downside to this hotel is that the bed is a bit too soft for my liking.

We absolutely loved this place. The location was incredible, just a short walk down to the waters edge. It was also close to many other great places like Bar Harbor. The service was amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive. They even gave us a welcome drink upon arrival. We also appreciated the room amenities, such as the heating and air conditioning, as well as the tea and coffee facilities and sitting area. The outdoor areas were also great, with garden furniture, sun loungers, and picnic tables.

We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The rooms and common areas are clean and tidy, and the staff is always friendly. Parking is easily accessible, and the hotel offers a variety of facilities for guests.

My stay at the inn was absolutely delightful. The historic home exudes charm and the views from the deep lawn were breathtaking. The innkeepers went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and the breakfast they served was the best I've ever had. The cozy and clean room provided a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring. Although the bathroom was a bit small, it was still functional. I had a wonderful experience at Captain Nickels Inn and I highly recommend it for a memorable stay.
